Did you know that April is one of the best times of the year to stargaze? This year's National Donate Life Month theme is, 'Donors are SuperStars,' which illustrates that stars remind us that even in the darkest night, there is light. This is similar to your decision to become an organ, eye and tissue donor which brings hope and light to the over 100,000 people on the national organ transplant waiting list. Throughout National Donate Life Month (4/1/24 through 4/30/24), join us in bringing awareness to our mission. Together, we have the power to save and heal lives!
Here are seven ways you can give back all month long:
- Attend Both Of Our 'Donate Life Knights'- Watch our Vegas Golden Knights on 4/2/2024 and our Henderson Silver Knights on 4/6/24 as they spotlight our mission during their 'Donate Life Knight' games.
- Bring Awareness Using Your Online Community- Share ready-to-post content and graphics online which available on our website here.
- Create A Video- Use your platform to share your connection to donation, why you registered to be a heroic donor and/or debunk common misconceptions/myths.
- Educate The Community- Request informational materials at no cost to you by contacting us at info@nvdonor.org.
- Participate In Spirit Week- Donate Life Blue and Green Spirit Week is from 4/6/24 to 4/12/24 (schedule here).
- Register For 2024 Hope Glows- Come glow with us on 4/27/24 at Exploration Peak Park. More details can be found here.
- Wear Blue And Green- On 4/12/24 in honor of Donate Life Blue & Green Day, wear your favorite blue and green outfit, snap a photo and share why you are with your online community.
