Earlier this fall, Nevada Donor Network and PAM Health in northern Nevada announced their expanded partnership! Nevada Donor Network will now serve as the organization's sole designated organ procurement organization (OPO) for all organ, eye and tissue donation in Nevada.
PAM Health provides post-acute healthcare services through more than 100 long-term acute care hospitals, medical rehabilitation hospitals, behavioral health hospitals, as well as wound care clinics and outpatient physical therapy locations, in 23 states. PAM Health is committed to providing high-quality patient care and outstanding customer service, coupled with loyal, dedicated and highly trained staff.
This partnership allows for a more seamless donation process, ensuring Nevada’s communities have access to the opportunity to save and heal others through donation. Nevada Donor Network’s Director of Donation Development, Heather Osipowicz, shared that by working together we will make a profound impact on our Nevada Donor Network while giving even more heroic donor’s and their courageous families the chance to give the gift of life and healing through donation.
The expansion of this partnership builds on several established PAM Health partnerships in Clark County. Nevada Donor Network’s new alliance with PAM Health Specialty Hospital of Reno enables both organizations to engage with the community about the life-saving impact donation has throughout our state. Nevada Donor Network now partners with PAM Health Specialty Hospital of Las Vegas, PAM Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Centennial Hills, PAM Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Henderson and PAM Health Specialty Hospital of Reno.
The Division President, Sam Billing, at PAM Health shared that working alongside Nevada Donor Network as their sole organ procurement organization partner enables them to support a life-saving mission by offering hope to patients awaiting transplants and honoring the generosity of donor families.
