A Record-Breaking Year of the HRSA DoNation Campaign

Written by: Jenna Dumas

We were thrilled to announce at our 2024 Hope Dinners in northern and southern Nevada that we have nearly 100 community partners enrolled in the Health Resources & Services Administration’s (HRSA) DoNation Campaign as of 2024! The campaign was created to engage workplaces across all industries of all sizes to bring awareness to organ, eye and tissue donation, while encouraging their local community members to become registered heroes.

HRSAPartnersPost-1200x1200As the 2023-2024 DoNation Campaign comes to an end, HRSA expressed their deep appreciation for our team’s outstanding contributions to their mission. They believe the success they had during this year’s campaign would not have been possible without the incredible collaboration and support from everyone at Nevada Donor Network. Our unwavering dedication and tireless efforts when it comes to championing the DoNation campaign, inspiring new workplace partners to join it and increasing registered donors ultimately leads to helping save and heal more lives. During this past year, HRSA saw remarkable participation, which included 1,434 partners joining the campaign. Of those participants, 428 were brand new! Additionally, these efforts resulted in 23,104 new donor registrations, which makes the campaign’s lifetime total 662,503 donor registrations (since its inception in 2011).

As we wrap up 2024, we are proud to share accomplishments like these which are a direct reflection of the exceptional work done by our community and hospital development teams. Their joint efforts to educate Nevadans across the state about organ, eye and tissue donation in various types of workplaces are vital to bring hope to more than 100,000 Americans desperately waiting for the second chance.

We want to congratulate each one of our partners who received an award for their efforts! We hope that even more partners will join in 2025 and help us exceed 100 enrolled agencies.
